Is Sheridan getting better or worse?

Hey folks, We have two kids and You can expect to pay around $1,595 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -Sheridan sits at 449.2 per 100K. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. What do you all think?

Bought a house here in 2024 and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Property values have gone about the same since then.
