Curious what people think. The unemployment rate is 2.1%, which is pretty low. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Would love some local perspective.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from Salt Lake City about 13 years ago. The main reasons were work and a fresh start.
Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good schools in most areas
- Good internet infrastructure
Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Chain restaurants dominate
Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are competitive, gas is solid.
Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Happy to answer more specific questions..
