Is Sheridan worth it salary-wise?

So, We have two kids and Household incomes average around $61,598 in Sheridan. Rent is about $933/month for a decent place. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Am I wrong here? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's exactly what I was looking for. The only thing I'd watch out for is walkability. Other than that, Good luck with whatever you decide..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from Atlanta and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Uptown. It's decent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in marketing. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: tough. Tons of options if you like seafood.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is safety. it's not perfect but it works for me. Worth doing your research before committing.
