Alright, Been living here since 2012. Homes are going for about $412,200 on average. Median household income is $73,849, which feels about average for the area. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Worth the trade-offs? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.
I've been here 12 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is public transit. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the healthcare is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is challenging.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The The Heights side vs the Maple Ridge side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
No regrets on my end..

I work in construction here and I genuinely enjoy living here. The job market for my field is better than expected. Good luck with whatever you decide..
