Sherrelwood housing prices -when will it stop?

Been meaning to ask this. Median household income is $73,849, which feels about average for the area. It's a a small town city with about 19,368 people. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Any advice would be great.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.

I've been here 12 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The East side vs the Lakewood side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

Bought a house here in 2021 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

My experience has been mostly positive. it exceeded my expectations. The only thing I'd watch out for is job market. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
