Hey everyone, I grew up here but left for a while. The median home value here is around $190,600, which is actually reasonable. With a population of 5,462, Shillington is a small town. Rent is about $1,293/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 54--F, so expect cold winters. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Should I be concerned? Appreciate any input. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up.
