First post here. I've been here for 18 years and The median home value here is around $101,500, which is actually reasonable. The unemployment rate is 7.3%, which is concerning. Household incomes average around $41,563 in Shiprock. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
