Worst things about Shirley nobody talks about

Alright, Median household income is $105,379, which feels pretty solid for the area. With a population of 27,807, Shirley is a smaller city. Crime rate is something to consider -Shirley sits at 22.0 per 100K. Homes are going for about $390,300 on average. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Pros:
- Lots of new development
- Good healthcare facilities
- Plenty of shopping options
- Good airport connections

Cons:
- Hot summers
- Lack of diversity
- Few job opportunities in some fields
- Poor road conditions
- Homelessness issues downtown
The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up.
