Affordable areas near Shoreline?

Just moved here 3 months ago and The median home value here is around $759,400, which is pretty steep. Poverty rate is 5.7%, which is pretty low. With a population of 59,280, Shoreline is a smaller city. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Pros:
- Close to nature
- Easy commute
- Lots of new development

Cons:
- Few job opportunities in some fields
- Boring for young people
- Far from major airports
- Not enough green space
What neighborhoods would you suggest? Appreciate any input. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

My experience has been mostly positive. the quality of life is solid. The only thing I'd watch out for is traffic. Other than that, No regrets on my end..
