Best companies to work for in Shoreline?

OK so I've been here for 20 years and You can expect to pay around $1,938 for rent here. Household incomes average around $113,336 in Shoreline. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What would you do?

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a project manager, 52, moved here 9 years ago from LA. I've lived in Midtown and South, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Great outdoor activities nearby
2. Good airport with direct flights
3. Lots of family-friendly activities
4. The people are generally better than expected - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Not a lot of cultural diversity
2. Road conditions need improvement
3. The cultural scene situation is stable and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Midtown: Great for retirees. pretty good vibes, walkable.
- South: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from LA, everything felt average. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are manageable. Gas is competitive. You can live comfortably on $40K-$130K here.

**Final verdict:**
Would recommend to anyone considering it.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

Weather-wise, the summers are pretty good and winters are reasonable. You get used to it after the first year.

I'm a real estate agent and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. The community is challenging and there's always something going on.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem improving.

I've been here 3 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into running, this place is hit or miss.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Old Town side vs the Fairview side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Good luck with whatever you decide..
