Biggest downsides of living in Shoreline?

Longtime lurker here, Just moved here 11 months ago and Household incomes average around $113,336 in Shoreline. Crime rate is something to consider -Shoreline sits at 166.0 per 100K. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. What do you all think? Thanks in advance! Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

I'm a project manager and I've found it was the best decision I ever made. The community is tough and there's always something going on.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. I have mixed feelings honestly. Compared to Denver it's tough.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.

I've been here 6 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is cultural scene. It's stable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cultural scene is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is decent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Sunset side vs the Westside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
