So, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Average temperature is around 46--F, so expect cold winters. Crime rate is something to consider -Shorewood Hills sits at 48.1 per 100K. With a population of 2,067, Shorewood Hills is a small town. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. What would you do? Thanks in advance! The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
