Hot take but there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. I know a lot of people disagree but after 11 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is traffic. I have mixed feelings honestly. Worth doing your research before committing.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Atlanta and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Fairview. It's tough for what you get.
Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in retail. If you're in real estate you might struggle.
People: Generally average. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like sushi.

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. safety used to be much reasonable but now it's pretty good.
