Thinking about relocating to Shrewsbury from Cincinnati
Hi all, Median household income is $144,500, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's a a small town city with about 4,162 people. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Am I wrong here? Thanks for reading.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.
I've been here 14 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the healthcare is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is underrated.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Eastside side vs the Uptown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

I've lived in Fairview for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Miami, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Active local events and festivals
- The walkability scene is tough
The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Limited public transit options
Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for couples. No regrets on my end..

I've been living here for 15 years and I'd say it's been a really good experience overall. The outdoor recreation is surprisingly good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.
