Is Sienna still affordable?

With a population of 25,025, Sienna is a smaller city. It's a a smaller city city with about 25,025 people. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Should I be concerned? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

The food scene here is underrated. Tons of great Vietnamese places. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a nurse who relocated here from Denver about 13 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and weather.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Winters are long and cold

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are reasonable, gas is excellent.

Socially, it's been a really good experience overall. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value nightlife, you'll love it. The dating scene is genuinely underrated and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. My neighborhood (Downtown) is affordable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from New York, be prepared for the culture shock. traffic is completely different here. And Limited shopping options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Public transit is pretty good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's improved dramatically in recent years.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's not perfect but it works for me. The only thing I'd watch out for is dating scene. Other than that, No regrets on my end..
