OK so I'm originally from Baltimore and It's a a small town city with about 14,213 people. Homes are going for about $261,500 on average. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cheers. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a accountant who relocated here from Phoenix about 4 years ago. The main reasons were school and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Active local events and festivals
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are pricey, gas is better than expected.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Good luck with whatever you decide..
