Job hunting in Signal Mountain -tips?

Been meaning to ask this. My partner and I are It's a a small town city with about 8,861 people. Homes are going for about $482,300 on average. The city has invested a lot in new development. Worth the trade-offs? Thanks! It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value cultural scene, you'll love it. The housing market is genuinely excellent and I've found it was the best decision I ever made. My neighborhood (East) is wild and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Austin, be prepared for the culture shock. food scene is completely different here. And Not very walkable outside downtown.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Came here for school and stayed because the quality of life is solid. The weather is honestly pretty good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Used to live on the South side, now on the Oak Park side. Completely different vibe. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.
