Curious what people think. My family moved here when I was a kid. Average temperature is around 58--F, so the weather is moderate. With a population of 16,231, Sikeston is a small town. The city has invested a lot in new development. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Would love some local perspective. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
