What surprised you most about Siloam Springs?

Anyone else feel this way? I'm a remote worker and Homes are going for about $205,000 on average. The median home value here is around $205,000, which is actually reasonable. Crime rate is something to consider -Siloam Springs sits at 406.2 per 100K. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Is this normal for Siloam Springs?

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 8 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is decent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the Fairview side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
