Silver City is underrated, change my mind
Hey, I relocated for work and Median household income is $39,025, which feels on the lower side for the area. Rent is about $851/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 14.9%, which is around average. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
Pros:
- Good job market
- Friendly people
- Good schools
- Good healthcare facilities
- Plenty of shopping options
Cons:
- Rising rent prices
- Limited nightlife
- Poor road conditions
- Far from major airports
- Homelessness issues downtown
