Hi all, I'm single, late 20s, and The unemployment rate is 3.2%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $507,600, which is pretty steep. Median household income is $101,445, which feels pretty solid for the area. With a population of 21,046, Silverdale is a small town. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. What are your go-to spots? Cheers. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Houston, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's exactly what I was looking for. Internet is challenging in most areas.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Miami and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in East. It's surprisingly good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in real estate. If you're in legal you might struggle.
People: Generally pretty good. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.
