Just moved to Silverton, any tips?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Poverty rate is 7.4%, which is pretty low. The weather takes some getting used to. What neighborhoods would you suggest?

Public transit is hit or miss here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I love the pace of life here.
