Alright, Crime rate is something to consider -Simpsonville sits at 194.2 per 100K. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Is this normal for Simpsonville? Cheers. The weather takes some getting used to. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. it exceeded my expectations. Compared to Boston it's challenging.

Weather-wise, the summers are decent and winters are stable. You get used to it after the first year.

I've lived in Meadowbrook for about 1 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from Chicago, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- The community vibe scene is decent
The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for singles. Good luck with whatever you decide..
