เทศบาลเมืองสิงหนคร เป็นเทศบาลเมืองที่ตั้งอยู่ในอำเภอสิงหนคร จังหวัดสงขลา เป็นชุมชนเมืองโบราณ เคยเป็นที่ตั้งและเป็นชื่อเมืองสงขลา ในอดีตก่อนที่จะย้ายตัวเมืองสงขลา มาอยู่ด้านตะวันออกของปากอ่าวทะเลสาบสงขลาซึ่งเห็นที่ตั้งของเทศบาลนครสงขลา ในปัจจุบัน โดยกระทรวงมหาดไทยได้ประกาศเปลียนแปลงฐานะเทศบาลตำบลสิงหนครมาเป็นเทศบาลเมืองสิงหนคร และมีผลบังคับใช้แล้ว ตั้งแต่วันที่ 23 พฤศจิกายน พ.ศ. 2548
