Sioux City quality of life -am I missing something?

I've been here for 18 years and Rent is about $936/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $162,600 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Sioux City sits at 444.5 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 3.0%, which is pretty low. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Pros:
- Nice parks and trails
- Diverse community
- Good airport connections

Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Cold winters
- Rising rent prices
- Not very walkable
- Far from major airports
Should I be concerned? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
