Is Slaughter still affordable?

I'm single, late 20s, and Poverty rate is 4.8%, which is pretty low. The unemployment rate is 1.1%, which is pretty low. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

The food scene here is excellent. Tons of great Mediterranean places. it was the best decision I ever made.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Internet is decent in most areas.
