Curious what people think. I grew up here but left for a while. The unemployment rate is 2.5%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 49--F, so expect cold winters. With a population of 3,165, Sleepy Hollow is a small town. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Would love some local perspective. Thanks for reading. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
