First post here. Homes are going for about $426,100 on average. Household incomes average around $104,444 in Sloatsburg. Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Any advice would be great. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
