Is Smyrna good for remote workers?

Hello, Been living here since 2024. Poverty rate is 6.7%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $409,000 on average. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Am I overthinking this? Thanks for reading.

I've been living here for 8 years and I'd say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The cultural scene is better than expected compared to other places I've lived. Overall Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I've lived in Oak Park for about 3 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by cost of living. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- The job market scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for families. No regrets on my end..
