Is Smyrna getting better or worse?

So, Poverty rate is 8.3%, which is pretty low. With a population of 55,066, Smyrna is a smaller city. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Should I be concerned?

Bought a house here in 2015 and it's not perfect but it works for me. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

Came here for quality of life and stayed because I love the pace of life here. The public transit is honestly hit or miss and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
