Job market in Smyrna for tech?

Rent is about $1,366/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $326,700 on average. Median household income is $78,409, which feels about average for the area. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from Austin and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Midtown. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in government. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

Hope this helps!.
