Dog-friendly places in Snohomish?

Anyone else feel this way? It's a a small town city with about 10,177 people. Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Public transit is underrated here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's not perfect but it works for me.

I work in legal here and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The job market for my field is decent. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are better than expected, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I've lived in Midtown for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Salt Lake City, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- The community vibe scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for couples. No regrets on my end..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Minneapolis and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Pine Hills. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in legal. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like Indian.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Raleigh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Sunset. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in real estate. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally excellent. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like craft beer.

Good luck with whatever you decide..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem improving.

I've been here 4 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is walkability. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the job market is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is surprisingly good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Old Town side vs the Lakewood side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..

I've lived in Lakewood for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Pittsburgh, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Lots of new development happening
- Four distinct seasons
- The cost of living scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Road conditions need improvement

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for remote workers. Happy to answer more specific questions..
