Biggest downsides of living in Snyder?

Hey folks, With a population of 11,310, Snyder is a small town. Homes are going for about $102,500 on average. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. Let me know your thoughts. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Used to live on the Downtown side, now on the Highland side. Completely different vibe. it's not perfect but it works for me.

We moved here with our family and I have mixed feelings honestly. Schools in Old Town area are better than expected. Kids love it here.
