Not sure if this has been asked before, but Crime rate is something to consider -Socastee sits at 167.1 per 100K. Rent is about $1,244/month for a decent place. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Am I overthinking this? Property taxes are high but you get good services.
