Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm retired and Median household income is $51,343, which feels on the lower side for the area. It's a a small town city with about 8,540 people. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Is this normal for Socorro? Appreciate any input. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
