What's it really like living in Socorro?

My family moved here when I was a kid. The median home value here is around $131,200, which is actually reasonable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Does this match your experience?

We moved here with our family and it's not perfect but it works for me. Schools in Old Town area are excellent. Kids love it here.
