Moving to Somers Point with kids -good idea?
Hi all, Crime rate is something to consider -Somers Point sits at 107.6 per 100K. Homes are going for about $277,500 on average. With a population of 10,461, Somers Point is a small town. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. What are your go-to spots? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good.
