Best restaurants in Somersworth?

Poverty rate is 9.7%, which is pretty low. The unemployment rate is 1.7%, which is pretty low. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What are your go-to spots? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

Hot take but there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. I know a lot of people disagree but after 11 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I've lived in Meadowbrook for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Lots of new development happening
- Diverse dining options
- The weather scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Not very walkable outside downtown

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for couples. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Bought a house here in 2018 and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

We moved here with our family and I have mixed feelings honestly. Schools in Midtown area are decent. Kids love it here.
