Anyone else feel this way? I'm a college student here and With a population of 80,549, Somerville is a smaller city. The unemployment rate is 2.3%, which is pretty low. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Am I wrong here? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
