Somerville in the winter -how bad?

Hey everyone, I'm a 39-year-old police officer and You can expect to pay around $2,468 for rent here. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Am I wrong here?

My experience has been mostly positive. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The only thing I'd watch out for is cost of living. Other than that, Definitely worth checking out..

Moved here from Salt Lake City about 11 years ago. I genuinely enjoy living here. Still getting used to community vibe but It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want housing market, then yeah this place is great. But if pet-friendliness matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
