Top 5 things I love about Somerville

Anyone else feel this way? We're a young couple and Median household income is $103,869, which feels pretty solid for the area. The median home value here is around $403,600, which is pretty steep. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Does this match your experience?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from Charlotte and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Downtown. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in tech. If you're in engineering you might struggle.

People: Generally tough. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Indian.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..
