Curious what people think. Been living here since 2011. You can expect to pay around $782 for rent here. Poverty rate is 20.2%, which is higher than I expected. Average temperature is around 50--F, so expect cold winters. Household incomes average around $34,498 in Sophia. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Worth the trade-offs? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
