Hey, Born and raised here. It's a a small town city with about 13,594 people. Crime rate is something to consider -South Charleston sits at 841.1 per 100K. Rent is about $857/month for a decent place. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

- Traffic can be terrible
