Random thought, I'm a remote worker and Household incomes average around $78,782 in South Euclid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Anyone in a similar situation? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a accountant who relocated here from Charlotte about 1 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and quality of life.
Pros I've experienced:
- Affordable housing options
- Diverse dining options
- Strong sense of community
Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Limited shopping options
Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are stable, gas is solid.
Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Hope this helps!.
