Unpopular opinion about South Floral Park

Curious what people think. I'm retired and Homes are going for about $578,600 on average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Any advice would be great. The weather takes some getting used to. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

I'm a social worker and I've found it exceeded my expectations. The community is surprisingly good and there's always something going on.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it's been a really good experience overall. Compared to New York it's challenging.
