Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Looking forward to hearing from you all. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

My experience has been mostly positive. I genuinely enjoy living here. The only thing I'd watch out for is job market. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want job market, then yeah this place is great. But if walkability matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 15 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is safety. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is excellent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Meadowbrook side vs the North side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
