So, The unemployment rate is 5.1%, which is about average. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What do you all think? Thanks in advance!

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Westside. It's pretty good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in construction. If you're in real estate you might struggle.
People: Generally solid. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like sushi.
Definitely worth checking out..

Came here for family and stayed because the quality of life is solid. The nightlife is honestly hit or miss and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
