Anyone regret moving to South Gate Ridge?

Alright, Average temperature is around 74--F, so it's warm year-round. You can expect to pay around $1,581 for rent here. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Thoughts? Appreciate any input. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.

I've been here 3 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is public transit. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the East side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Compared to Houston it's excellent.
