Anyone work in healthcare in South Hill?

Hey, I'm a teacher here and Rent is about $1,916/month for a decent place. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Am I overthinking this? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

My experience has been mostly positive. I genuinely enjoy living here. The only thing I'd watch out for is traffic. Other than that, Hope this helps!.
