Working remotely from South Jordan — my experience

I've been working remotely from South Jordan for 9 years now. Here's my take:

The pace of life here is perfect for remote work. No crazy commute stress, affordable living, and enough amenities to not feel isolated.

Cost of living: pretty reasonable
Internet: Could be better but workable with a good provider
Coworking spaces: A few good ones downtown

If you're looking for a place to WFH, South Jordan is a solid choice.

As someone who moved here from Chicago, I can confirm most of this. The cost of living surprised me the most.

Downtown is overrated and overpriced. The suburbs offer way better value.

Public transit needs work but they're investing in it. Should improve in next few years.

Great post! One thing I'd mention is check out the local Facebook groups for neighborhood info. Makes a big difference.

Coming from Houston, the cost of living difference is noticeable. Groceries and gas are slightly more expensive but housing makes up for it.
